Answers:

1. Where are you located?
In the South of Market District of San Francisco, we do not give our address on our web site for client confidentiality.

2. How much do you charge?
We charge $90 per week, paid by cash or money order.

3. What are your hours?
Monday through Friday 6:30am - 9:00am, and 11:00am-12:30pm
Saturday and Sunday 8:30am - 10.30am

We are closed on State and Federal Public Holidays.

4. What days are you closed for public holidays?

5. Do you have a waiting list?
We do not have a waiting list.

6. Do you take Medi-Cal or health insurance?
YES, we do accept Medi-Cal. We can help you get reimbursement from you own insurance company, if appropriate.

7. Do you have a detox program?
We do not have a 21-day detox program. Maintenance clients can voluntarily taper their medication over a longer period of time however.

8. If I am coming from another clinic, can I courtesy dose at Fort Help?
We welcome courtesy dosing--our fee is $15 a day. Ask your counselor to call and make arrangements.

9. What public transport is available?
BART – get off at Civic Center
Golden Gate Transit (for Marin) – Mission and 7th -60,70,80

Caltran Depot (for the south bay) – 30,42.45,76N
MUNI – 27,42,9X

10. How long does it take to get on to your program?
We try to schedule an initial interview within a day of you first contacting the clinic, and then admission should be within a week, depending on how quickly we can get all necessary information.

11. Do you dispense LAAM or buprenorphine?
We do not dispense LAAM. Please call for the latest information on buprenorphine.

12. How is your methadone dispensed?
We dispense clear methadone hydrochloride and orange methadone diskettes.
